Pioneer School Tidbits

Pioneer School Tidbits

Hellfire and Double Jeopardy Law

A person cannot be convicted twice for the same crime.  Imperfect man recognizes that.  Now, why wouldn’t our loving and perfect Creator.  The wages sin pays for is death (Romans 6:23), therefore when a person dies they paid for their sins, can’t be held responsible anymore after that.  Death then hellfire double jeopardy!

Definition of double jeopardy - The prosecution of a person twice for the same offense.

Excellent illustration to use in the field ministry.

Fruitage of the Spirit

Why wasn’t humility listed among the fruitage of the spirit?

Humility is the soil in which it grows.  A person has to be humble in order for the holy spirit to influence his or her behavior and produce those qualities.
